CDE is proud to host its next Open House event in partnership with Freehaven Materials on Wednesday, May 14. This will be an exclusive open house preview event showcasing this 150tph Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste Recycling Plant that was commissioned in 2024.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet with both the CDE and Freehaven teams, learn more about waste recycling solutions, and take a detailed tour of the plant led by technical experts equipped to answer your questions.

The wash plant processes Construction, Demolition, and Excavation (CD&E) waste from various sources, transforming it into recycled sand and aggregate products:

C33 Concrete Sand
Fine Sand
¾” Crushed Aggregate
3/8” Crushed Aggregate
1”+ Oversized Aggregate

These products can be reintegrated into the local construction industry as sustainable alternatives to virgin quarried materials, which are being reused in construction projects across Long Island and the surrounding areas.
