CDE washing solution paves way for circular economy in Alsace
We will be in attendance at RemTech Expo in Ferrara, Italy for the first time this September to champion washing as an environmentally sustainable solution for hydrocarbon contamination.
Taking place from 18 – 20 September, RemTech Expo is the leading international event specialising in the themes of remediation, regeneration, and sustainable development.
We will be located at pavilion 5, booth B17 for the duration of the show.
SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
Our attendance at the expo comes as washing for soil remediation continues to grow in popularity as an alternative to traditional techniques, such as thermal desorption and bioremediation.
CDE washing technology is also supporting the effort to reverse decades of hydrocarbon contamination caused by toxic dumping and industrial pollution on Long Island, New York. Our custom 250 tonnes per hour solution is supporting Posillico Materials LLC to remove contaminants, extract value through the production of in-spec sand and aggregates, and to return land to good use to meet the growing demands of urbanisation.
A NEW APPROACH TO REMEDIATION
Our technical lead Andrew Wilson will present on the topic of soil washing as a rapidly growing technique within the remediation sector on 20 September (11:30 – 13:45 CEST).
Andrew said: “Urgent action is needed to address the complex challenge of hydrocarbon contamination. Guided by our purpose to create our best world, a ton at a time we’re championing a new approach to soil remediation to deliver upon that purpose and accelerate the pace of change in the industry. Washing is already contributing positively to the remediation effort across many different geographies, but there is still room for growth and greater adoption. Though this will be our first time exhibiting at the show, we look forward to showing how our advanced washing equipment is contributing to a cleaner, safer future.”
